Brighton is a city on the south coast of England, known for its vibrant atmosphere, beautiful beaches, and eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and bars. It’s a popular tourist destination, especially for young people, and is often referred to as the “London of the South.”

Brighton has a long history as a seaside resort, and its beaches are still one of its main attractions. The city also has a number of other things to offer visitors, including The Royal Pavilion, The Lanes, Brighton Pier and Brighton Museum & Art Gallery. Brighton is also home to a fantastic selection of wing slingers and being local to the Wing Society we have collated a walking tour of the best wing joints in town.

Starting from the train station, as there are a fair few pubs on-route so be sensible and leave the car at home.

Step 1: Brighton Station to York Place

Exit the station and head down Trafalgar Street (under the bridge), grab a coffee to-go from Coffee at 33 Brighton. Turn left onto York Place and head for Lost Boys Land. Grab a portion of wings, choose your sauce and grab some blue cheese dip.

Head on to MEATliquor, just a few doors up (towards the cathedral) pull up a chair near the bar and grab a portion of buffalo wings and a Pickle Jack.

Step 2: Onward to Boom! Bird

Now this is a slight trek, but we promise it’s worth it. Boom! Bird have a range of exciting wings and we’re sure you will want to order more than one variety, if there’s a group then go for it. Just a few of you, still go for it, you have a bit of time to walk off those tasty wings before the next stop. Once you have devoured your spoils, head back the way you came, bear left onto Richmond Place and head for BrewDog.

Step 3: The Brighton OG

Once you have had your fill of wings and beer at BrewDog, head across town to East Street for The BOK Shop. The wings here are truly insane, and huge. Make sure to grab a selection of tasty dips. If you’re in need of refreshment, The East Street Tap across the road has a great range of beers and it’s Brighton’s oldest boozer!

Step 4: Wings to Go

Next up, 7bone and Patty&Bun. You will most likely want to grab your wings to go and eat on seafront. Both places offer sit-down/eat-in however on a sunny day, nothing beats sucking chicken bones on beach! When you’re done, walk along the front to the i360 tower and head up Preston Street, to Moyos Burgers.

Step 5: The Home Stretch

Your next stop is heading back towards the station, where you will find the best plant-based wings from Beelzebab, we have ever tried, at an amazing grass-roots indie music pub, The Hope & Ruin. Grab a seat, order some VVINGS and a few drinks. When you’re fully satisfied, your last stop before the train is just a little further up the hill – your looking for a hole in the wall takeaway, Kogi to Go – grab as many wings as you can for the long train ride home.
